Dena Kaufman

Dena recently joined Pathway Geriatrics with a mission to provide compassionate and preventive care to the elderly. With a background in emergency nursing, she has firsthand experience with the overuse of hospital emergency rooms, which inspired her to focus on keeping patients out of the hospital whenever possible.

Dena began her career as an ER nurse in Las Vegas, where she honed her skills in critical care and patient management. Her experiences in the fast-paced environment of the emergency room have equipped her with the ability to handle a wide range of medical situations with efficiency and empathy.

Motivated by cherished memories of her grandmother, Dena pursued a career in geriatric care to make a meaningful impact on the lives of older adults. She believes in the importance of personalized care plans and works closely with patients and their families to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Dena holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Touro University and is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She recently relocated to Seattle with her husband and is excited to be part of the Pathway Geriatrics team, where she continues her commitment to improving the quality of life for her patients.
